Hijack

Born in 1992 in California, Hijack is a contemporary art prodigy whose work is a revelation in street art. His pieces are imaginative, brilliantly constructed, and showcased in cultural hotspots worldwide, from Los Angeles to London.

Hijack's roots in street art run deep; he is the son of the infamous pop artist Mr. Brainwash. Growing up, Hijack was surrounded by renowned street artists like Space Invader, Bansky, and Shepard Fairey. As he has evolved as an artist, Hijack has found his own voice, inspired by the spirit of music and the poetry of everyday moments. His art visualizes colorful and meaningful perspectives on life.

Working with both the urban terrain and canvas, Hijack's visual language depends on mixed mediums, oil paint and spay paint. Through these mediums, Hijack creates thought-provoking works imbued with humor and irony to critique contemporary society.

In 2013, Hijack made a significant impact on the UK art scene with his gallery debut at the prestigious Mead Carney Fine Art Gallery in London. The show was highly anticipated and sold out before being extended. His success continued to garner attention, with features in publications such as Art of England, Huffington Post UK, The Art Newspaper, and the Telegraph.

Hijack's initial success has propelled him into the spotlight as a contemporary art phenomenon. He has exhibited worldwide and collaborated with renowned street artists like NY's Cope and Japan's Dragon 76.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Hijack continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art with his signature style steeped in positivity, presenting a refreshing future for the next generation of artists.
